Performance of Top Sandbox-like Games on Unified Platform in Algeria, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the sandbox-like games category in Algeria saw varied performance across the top five apps, with data provided by Sensor Tower giving us a closer look at trends in downloads, revenue, and active users.

Roblox from Roblox Corporation showed a dynamic trend in terms of weekly revenue, starting at $1.4K in early July and peaking at approximately $2.4K by the end of August. The app's weekly downloads reached a high of around 60K in the week of July 29, while weekly active users remained robust, maintaining above 580K throughout the quarter.

Block Craft 3D: Building Game by Wildlife Studios experienced modest weekly revenue, peaking at $11 in late August. Downloads exhibited fluctuations, with an initial spike to 64.2K in the week of July 8, and later stabilizing around the 30K mark. Its active user base saw a high of over 313K mid-August before settling around 193K by the end of September.

School Party Craft, developed by Candy Room Games & RabbitCo, did not generate revenue in this period. However, it maintained a steady download rate, peaking at 31.5K in early August. The app's active users reached a peak of 161K in early September, before experiencing a slight decline toward the end of the quarter.

WeCraft Worlds from Glow Games Studio also did not report revenue. Downloads increased significantly from a low of 6.8K in mid-July to a high of 28.3K by late September. Active users grew consistently, starting at 16.8K and reaching a peak of 68.5K by the end of September.

Craftsman: Building Craft did not report revenue either. The app's downloads peaked at 32K in late July but fell to 7.7K by the end of September. Its active user base saw a peak of 178K in late July, with a gradual decline to 114K by the end of the quarter.
